Once your reservation has been confirmed, the following fees apply if you cancel for personal reasons.
Standard stays
- Up to 15 days before arrival
- No charge
- 14–8 days before arrival
- 20% of the stay
- 7–4 days before arrival
- 30% of the stay
- 3–2 days before arrival
- 50% of the stay
- 1 day before arrival
- 80% of the stay
- Same day / no-show
- 100% of the stay
Kamihitoban and special retreats

Important information
- Fees are calculated from the total accommodation or participation charge in your confirmed reservation.
- Reservations made through a third-party booking website are subject to the cancellation policy shown on that website.
- Please contact us about unavoidable circumstances such as typhoons, disasters or suspension of public transport.
- If Matsuzawaya cancels your stay or retreat, any amount already paid will be refunded in full.
